Women love their makeup. I like different shades of lipstick, many brushes, extra mascara and eyeliners, and so on. But I know from experience that I’ll use lipstick once or twice, and then it sits there, taking up precious space and going bad. About every six months, I review my makeup stash and chunk anything that doesn’t appeal to me anymore, and I don’t use it. The expired makeup I get rid of.
There are some guidelines to use when trying to decide what to keep and what to toss. The time can vary depending on how you store your makeup (in a drawer, on the counter exposed to shower humidity and dust, etc.). When in doubt – toss! ·
